Protect Digital LTD are dedicated to supporting a safe, creative, friendly and prosperous online marketplace for consumers, traders and businesses alike.
If you have received a listing takedown or request either directly from a marketplace or from Protect Digital via message or e-mail, on this page you will find information on why and how to proceed afterwards. It is very important that you read this information if you object to the request or do not understand why you received it.
Protect Digital offer a premium Brand Protection service and represent a variety of clients with the purpose of protecting their Intellectual Property Rights on online marketplaces and other websites. IPR's can be violated in a number of ways, but the most typical types of potential violations we enforce against are; Trademark Infringement, Copyright Infringement, Passing Off, Patent Infringement, Unauthorized Ticket Sales and Grey Imports.
IMPORTANT: If you are certain that your takedown was made in error, you MUST follow the below process in order to appeal it with Protect Digital. Contacting a Rights Owner directly will not resolve the issue, and they will only direct you back to us for further information.
Telephone Support is NOT available regarding Takedown/Violation issues. If you have received an infringement notice, you must reply via the email address supplied in your notice.
- For traders/businesses who purchase goods from a third party to re-sell or drop ship: You must provide us with clear and unaltered purchase invoices (from within the last 180 days) showing the product in question. You must provide your full contact details and the full contact details of the supplier so that further investigation can be carried out and the information verified. Your supplier must be authorized to sell you the questioned goods and if they are not or refuse to supply the information to you or us, this will not change the validity of the notice against you.
- For traders/businesses who manufacture or otherwise produce their own goods to sell: You must provide us with all the unaltered appropriate license agreements, trademark/copyright release forms, authorization letters or contracts, subject/model release forms and/or Brand/Manufacturer contacts to verify your validity. Certain parts of this information can of course be redacted, but you will need to firstly e-mail us with which information you have to pass on before we can tell you what can or cannot be redacted.
Once the appropriate information is received, we will confirm receipt and then return to you with the outcome of our investigation. If further information is required, we will contact you.
Further information to note:
Abusive, harassing or inappropriate messages, telephone contact or otherwise will not be tolerated. Protect Digital grants you no right to post, copy or otherwise use any portion of our communications with you elsewhere online or offline. If you post the content of confidential communications with us elsewhere, additional follow up action may be taken against you.
